Crowns
Remove broken, discoloured or other teeth
These are false teeth that are permanently in place and cannot be removed. Alternatives include removable dentures or implants.

Why would I need a crown?
Crowns can help with discoloured, broken or weakened teeth.
What is the process involved?
Your existing tooth will form the anchor for the new crown, essentially replacing the top of your tooth.
Firstly, the dentist will take a mould of all of your teeth and how they fit together. The dentist will then remove the outer part of the tooth, and leave an inner core. The dentist then takes a second mould of your teeth, with the newly prepared tooth.
After this, you’ll be given a temporary crown whilst your custom-made tooth is created in a lab. We’ll call you back in when your crown is ready, usually a week or two later.
Finally, the dentist will remove your temporary crown and attach the
permanent crown, and that’s it! A brand new smile!
